Benefits and Qualities

Cypress essential oil is generous in its applications but above all works on the circulation of the blood, where it is a reliable veinal decongestant. In this way it happily re-balances the general tone in cases of nervous or physical fatigue due to bad food. Synergies: lemon, niaouli, tea tree, lavender aspic, eucalyptus, atlas cedar, rosemary, citronella, juniper.

The Plant

For the Chinese, cypress is like a cosmic mast that links heaven and earth. In the South of France and all around the Mediterranean it has always grown freely. The purity of its lines makes it a very elegant tree which invites essential questions of life and death. For this reason it has always watched over tombs, less as a funeral ornament than as a token of living eternity.
