Benefits and Qualities
Lavandin abrial essential oil is distinguished from lavender by a much stronger disinfectant action. Otherwise, its neuro-tonic qualities act to ameliorate physical and intellectual exhaustion.
Production
Essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation of the flowery heads of a particular clone of lavandin (lavandula hybrida = lavandula angustifolia Miller x lavandula latifolia Medikus). (Labieaes)
The Plant
Lavandin abrial is the first clone from true lavender, obtained in the 1920s thanks to new methods of making cuttings. The clones were carefully selected for the best rendering of essential oil.

Parfume-Creation
Typical odour, foresty and herbaceous, with a very distinctive note of camphor. Used mostly in everyday utilitarian compositions for greatly diverse purposes.
