Lemon essential oil is a classic among classics. A general stimulant, it is frequently chosen in cases of repetitive infection. The Plant
Originating in China or India, lemon slipped along the spice roads toward the Middle East. Alexander's Greeks called it ""the Medic apple,"" referring to the Medes of what is now Iran. It was also included in the travels of Christopher Columbus and easily conquered the New World. Its unparalleled fragrance, the multitude of its usages and benefits, as much culinary as aromatherapeutic, assures lemon a place of honour and distinction.
Caution
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep away from children. Slightly photosensitising - do not expose yourself to sunlight for 12 hours after using.
