The Plant
Ajowan is a well-known plant in India, particularly in the Gujarat region. Ajowan seeds are used to spice vegetarian cuisine and sometimes are counted among the ingredients in curry powders. Ajowan borrows certain notes of its bouquet from thyme and cumin, adding to them a spicy flavour that leaves a happy memory on the palate.
