The Plant
More than 700 species of geranium cover the four corners of the globe, birthed from either Africa or China. It was introduced in Europe in the 17th century. This vivacious plant can grow as high as one meter and favors the least experienced gardeners with easy maintenance. Otherwise, the odours of this essence are related to those of rose, which quickly drew the attention of the perfume industry, where geranium rosat is frequently used.
