The Plant
Neroli is the name of the essence of the flower of the bitter orange, known long before the sweet orange was. The branches, flowers, and fruit of this mythic tree were, in every region, associated with festivals and nuptial pairings, symbols of innocence and freshness, and also fertility. Neroli's delicious fragrance knows world wide success. For perfumiers it's like liquid gold from the legendary garden of the gods.
