The Plant
Pepper propagates like a house afire. It was Christopher Columbus who introduced it to Europe. Soon cultivated in Spain, it went on to conquer Italy, Germany, and Hungary. Nothing impeded its expansion. Within only a few decades it had completed its world voyage. Not simply capable of acclimatising in any locale, pepper quickly plays a primary role in the numerous cultures which have welcomed it, particularly those in Asia.
