Pera sweet orange essential oil is a combination of Spanish and Italian oranges. Sedative and calming, it diffuses in the air like the perfume of refound childhood.
Production
Essential oil obtained by cold pressing of the rind of the fruit of citrus sinensis L. Osbeck, var. pera, followed by centrifugal expression.
The Plant
It was Christopher Columbus himself who introduced the orange tree to the New World. It very easily acclimatized itself there, preparing the way for a large family of citrus which would become so popular in that hemisphere. Today, Brazil is one of the largest producers of the Pera variety of oranges.
Caution
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep away from children. Do not apply to the skin undiluted. Beware of photosensitivity. Keep away from sunlight after use on skin. May irritate sensitive skin.
