Petitgrain essential oil is relaxing, as much for its qualities as for the way it is employed. It is, in fact, very well suited for massages of the foot, the spinal column, or the solar plexus. Its lively floral perfume serves to lift the spirits far from everyday affairs and pressures. Synergies: bergamot, other citrus, lavender.

The Plant
In the large citrus family, bitter orange is an inexhaustible source of exceptional essences. Neroli comes from the flower, petitgrain from the tips and branches bearing the buds. No larger than a pinhead, they nonetheless portend the fruit itself and are distilled for all of the potential they would otherwise achieve.
