The Plant
Tree moss is a variety of lichen which is harvested from coniferous or light wood trees in mountainous regions of France or Spain during winter or spring. These lichens produce a grey mass which is possible to compare with oak moss, coloured light green. From these lichens come homeopathic syrups and tablets. In the perfume industry they can be found in such fragrances as Chypre or Russian Leather. The absolute has a waxy, soapy consistency; it is syrupy. Its humid odour is more powerful than that of the concrete.
Caution
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep away from children.
