Falafel with Lime and Sweet Almond flavor

  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp of ground cumin
  • 400g dried chickpeas
  • 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 small bunch of finely chopped parsley
  • 6 drops of lime flavouring
  • 1 drop of sweet almond flavor

Preparation:

  1. The day before, soak the chickpeas in plenty of water.
  2. The next day, rinse, drain, and mix in the bowl of a blender with the onion, garlic, flour, salt, drops of lime and sweet almond flavors, and spices.
  3. Blend, stirring regularly, until you have a semolina-like consistency.
  4. Stir in parsley, cover and let stand 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to th. 6 /180° and oil a baking sheet with edges.
  6. Form slightly flattened balls the size of walnuts and place them on the baking sheet.
  7. Drizzle with oil and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the falafels are golden brown.
